The airport/flying expeirences were so bad they completely ruined the days of relaxation and attention we got on our cruise ship. I just wanted to say that I think that we are so priveledged to have the option to sail right from where we live. My husband and I took our first cruise from Norfolk this summer. (We've cruised many other times, leaving from other cities) and I must say I was very impressed! <BR/><BR/>We sailed the June 26th 9-Night to the Caribbean. It was also our first time sailing with Royal Caribbean and we could not have asked for a more beautiful ship. <BR/><BR/>My husband and I opted for a suite this time (a little bigger cabin) which turned out to be perfect. Plenty of room in the room! Not that we spent too much time in the room because there was always something going on. <BR/><BR/>Well, I don't want to take up too much more room on this page (although I could go on and on!) But I would like to say that we had a wonderful time and that EVERYONE should try a cruise from Norfolk - at least once!
